Shining Star Trading had been established by the Group Chairman / Managing Director, Dato’ Thomas Khung Fanen DPTJ, JP in year 1982 at Wisma Sabah, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Initially, Shining Star Trading was journeyed off as the news print and office automation equipments as to its core business. It was being the most memorable date, which was on 26th July 1986, Shining Star Trading Sdn. Bhd. (STS) was officially incorporated in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and hence, within the same year, in line with the vision of marketing strategy of Galaxy Group of Companies, Shining Star Trading Sdn. Bhd., Kuching, Sarawak was incorporated too. Over the years, with the full efforts of tireless perseverance, STS’s top priority was to achieve on the high level of emphasis on Customer Service. STS had been successfully progressively in conquering and stretching its footprints in Sabah and Sarawak marketplace. Eventually, STS had established its Service Network throughout the East Malaysia – Sabah and Sarawak, which consisting of its five (5) strong energetic Branches and one (1) Service Depot, but the main office still remaining at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and Kuching, Sarawak respectively. STS was undoubtedly just wanted to accommodate and provide the comprehensive and efficient sales and after-sales-service supports to the value loyal customers.
As one of the leading office automation supplier in the marketplace, STS was always having its pleasure to keep abreast with the latest innovative products of the Information Technology (IT) Division, Office Automation, Reprographic and Printing Industry Equipments and the High-end Professional Audio Visual System Solutions. STS would also always staying well to be alerted with satisfaction for the customers. The reinforcement to the above statement, the first A0 size, High-end Zeutschel Color Scanning System from Germany was being installed in STS, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
